About Me
Phd student - Department of Geosciences
Virginia Tech
Hello! My name is Kameron Finch and I am a PhD student in the department of Geosciences at Virginia Tech. My research aims to understand how microplastics move through the environment, and how their concentrations and compositions have changed overtime in tidal marsh environments.
I earned both my Bachelor's of Science and my Masters of Science in Biology at Fredonia University in New York. I conducted my undergraduate and master work with Dr. Wigdahl-Perry understanding how lake systems were being impacted and changing from climate change and anthropogenic factors.
When I am not working in the lab you may find me out hiking, reading, or playing pick up sport games with my friends.
